Will new Sector Mechanicum terrain accessory kits be available for the new Shadow War kits? Well judging by these pictures, maybe?

Luck hobbyists around the world who were able to get new Shadow Wars kit have started noticing a few things about the packaging and a certain showcase set that Games Workshop unveiled in the new White Dwarf.

First off these profile views of drills were spotted on the inside of the box lid:

Does this mean we’ll see new Sector Mechanicus terrain accessories soon, or was this just a happy graphic accident?

Now checkout the pics of the crane on top of Games Workshop new terrain masterpiece that appeared in the White Dwarf. It is only shown clearly once and is conveniently masked throughout the rest of the battle report.

Kit Bash, or New Kit?

No number bullet point means nothing to see here?

Hey where’d the crane go?

What say ye? Should we expect even more terrain accessory kits from Games Workshop in the future? Or is this just a terrain builders’s fantasy, with no escape from reality?

They did say at Adepticon that future releases were purely based on community demand, so perhaps if we want to see more kits like this, we need to be a little more vocal about it?

Today we are taking a look at the new Shadow War Armageddon box set that is sold out around the world!

When opening the box we can see all of the Space Marine Scout and Ork Boys that we have seen in the past so there’s nothing really too new there. The terrain pieces themselves is made from the lower quality Chinese plastic that we have been seeing most of the Games Workshop terrain come in lately but it seems that the detail level is much higher than that of the early Age of Sigmar terrain releases.

After throwing the scout and Ork instructions to the side we took a look at the double sided tokens and game aids. They are all a great quality and printed on a thick cardboard.

We are very happy to see that a quick start guide has been included in this box set. It’s always nice to have things that make it easier to get started when you’re not familiar with a game system. It is also very nice that Games Workshop has included newly rendered templates in a clear see through red plastic.
