The TIE Advanced is still in the fight for supremacy in Star Wars X-Wing! Take a look at this build that stays up close and has a score to settle.
Commander Alozen is a pilot skill 5 TIE Advanced pilot with an aggressive ability. At the start of the Combat Phase, you may acquire a target lock on an enemy ship at range 1. This is a great way to get in close and personal and deal massive damage. Let’s start with A Score To Settle. This Elite upgrade allows you to select an enemy ship an assign it the “A Debt to Pay” Condition card to it. This makes it so that whenever you are attacking a ship with “A Debt to Pay”, you may change 1 of your focus results into a critical. This can be a great way to take advantage of more TIE Advanced tech. The TIE/x1 title adds so much more to the TIE Advanced platform. Being able to reduce a system upgrade by 4 points is a massive discount. Accuracy Correctors is a nice upgrade for the Advanced, but we are going to focus on a system that has synergy with Commander Alozen. The Advanced Targeting Computer is a system upgrade that allows you to add 1 critical result whenever you are attacking with your primary weapon. onto a ship that you have target locked. This can work perfectly with Commander Alozen, who gets a free target lock whenever he is at range 1 of an enemy.
Since Commander Alozen gets a free target lock whenever he is at range 1 of an enemy, Engine Upgrade can be a nice way of getting in close and banking on getting a free Target Lock. At Range 1, Commander Alozen can roll 3 attack dice, add 1 crit, and change 1 focus to a crit. That’s quite a punch!

The Tie Advanced is the perfect upgrade to the TIE platform. This ship requires dedicated flying to master, and can be a formidable fighter for your squad!
