Games Workshop just gave us another preview for Codex: Craftworlds, and it looks like Saim-Hann & Bikers just got a whole lot better.
Games Workshop revealed another rules preview from Codex: Craftworlds. Let’s take a look at what they had to say about Saim-Hann.
The Attribute
The Saim-Hann Craftworld attribute is going to be great for biker heavy armies. You’ll be able to re-roll failed charge rolls for units with this attribute, and Biker units will not suffer the penalty to their hit rolls for moving and firing heavy weapons. This is going to make for a fast hard hitting army.
Both Windriders and Vypers have both seen a points reduction in the new codex, as well as the scatter laser. These are great, fast moving options for your Eldar army, and because of the Biker keyword, the Vypers will be able to benefit from the Saim-Hann Craftworld Attribute.
Fire and Fade is going to cost you 1 CP to use, but will be a great option for any Asuryani unit. After an Asuryani unit shoots in your Shooting phase you can immediately move 7″ as if it were the Movement phase, but you can’t Advance with this move. If you choose to move in this way you will not be able to charge in the same turn. This is going to be a great way to get your shots off and either get in between your opponent and models you want to protect, or just get out of dodge before you get attacked back.
All in all, Saim-Hann is looking like it’s going to be a very fast and deadly army! Make sure you check back in with us tomorrow when they reveal new rules for Alaitoc and the “vastly improved” Fire Prism.
