Have you been looking for a couple girls to add to your army? Well, Heresylab has you covered with their Heresy Girls Kickstarter launching tomorrow.
Heresylabs was pleased to announce that their new Kickstarter will be starting tomorrow and it features Heresy Girls that are perfect for your Warhammer army, no matter what faction you play. Let’s take a look at what they had to say, the launch video, and some of the new minis.
Over the past decade I have directly assisted multiple miniature companies achieve success with their projects. I have both broad and lengthy experience in the miniature industry. My previous work has covered all aspects of miniature production from design to manufacturing, and ranges from working with metal to resin and also plastic materials. Now I am creating my own line of high quality figures and am asking for your help to meet my goals. This project will begin with 10 figures and will expand to add more figures, add-ons, and freebies. If a picture is worth a thousand words than these images should speak for themselves.
Thank you for your interest and support!
This video did a perfect job showcasing the amazing work the Heresylab produces, and what you can expect to see if you back their Kickstarter. Their support levels are extremely reasonable whether you’re looking to pick up one model, or all of them.
THE DESIGN PROCESS
Our team has many years of experience in miniature design and production. We understand that there is no better way to judge the quality of a model than to hold it in your own hand. The proportions and every detail of a model are best experienced in person. Drawing from our experience and utilizing the best techniques and methods available we stick to the following in order to achieve the best results for each of our models.
1 – DETAILS – Yes, a rendered image looks great, but how well will it paint? We balance details by not overcrowding them and knowing that simple clean lines will produce better finished results both in production and painting.
2 – RENDERS – Renders are just the beginning. All of our models are printed at a high quality for evaluation after they are initially designed. We inspect these test prints to ensure that details and proportions are as intended before committing them to production.
3 – SCALE – Not too big not too small – We want our models to be compatible with the majority of game systems currently on the market. Presently the most common scale has become 32mm.
4 – PRODUCTION – It is not easy to produce the high quality of detail that we aim for in resin models. Knowledge, experience and dedication come together to enable us to achieve this goal. A significant part of our success in production starts in the design process. clean lines and the right quantity of individual pieces enable a higher quality of production.
5 – MATERIAL – For this project we have selected some of the highest quality resin available on the market. Our resin will withstand heat and will also be as flexible as possible. All to help your models avoid actual damage on the battlefield.
6 – UNIQUENESS – One thing we’ve learned is that each model is different and we approach every new piece with the understanding and expectation that it must be optimized in a unique way. We could write a book covering all of the considerations that come into play for each model, but instead we will just put that experience to work.
Heresylab has put a lot of care into this project and it shows in their work. With 11 different support levels, there’s bound to be something for everyone. But, if you want to customize one of the models, to include putting your very own face on one, then level 11 is the one you’re looking for!
In addition to being able to modify any mini in the project to your liking, you’ll also get every miniature that is made during this Kickstarter. Who wouldn’t love to look down at the tabletop and see their face on a model in their army, charging across the battlefield?
The Heresylab: Heresy Girls Kickstarter goes live tomorrow, and there’s a lot more to be seen on their Kickstarter page, including painting specials. So, make sure you head on over and check out the rest of what they have to offer.
