The crazy Scum Y-wing Ace, Kavil, is ready for turret action in X-Wing 2.0. This guy has an extra seat for a savvy turret gunner too!

Return of the Turrets: Killer Kavil X-Wing 2.0

The killer Y-wing turret master, Kavil, is back for more prey in X-Wing 2.0 This deadly Y-Wing pilot forgoes going after bombs and torpedoes and focuses on turret style attacks. While Kavil performs a non-primary arc attack, he rolls 1 additional attack die. This gives him a powerful boost to his attack power with turret weapons.

Dorsal Turret

Dorsal Turret is the perfect turret upgrade for Kavil, normally firing 2 dice at range 1-2, Kavil can toss 3 attack dice in a 360-degree arc; no easy task for a small-medium ship. Kavil has the attack dice numbers, but he will need a skilled gunner to make the most of his attack dice.

Hotshot Gunner

A Hotshot Gunner is a perfect companion for Kavil and dirty Scum styled tactics. While you perform a turret attack, the defender removes 1 focus or calculate token. This can leave your targeted ship vulnerable to follow up attacks from your other ships as this forces the defender to spend a focus or calculate token, regardless if they needed to or not. Sneaky Scum tactics!

R4 Astromech

Since the Y-Wing’s maneuvers can be somewhat sluggish at times, Kavil can get great mileage out of an R4 Agromech. This astromech upgrade decreases the difficulty of your speed 1-2 basic maneuvers which can allow Kavil to get into just the right position to take advantage of his turret arcs. Get into the perfect position to take advantage of your enemy’s vulnerable spots with Kavil and his deadly turret!
