Tobias Beckett is a thief for hire, and he will get paid no matter what. Use his tactics to make your mark in Star Wars Destiny.
Scoundrel mercenary Tobias Beckett has smuggled his way into Star Wars Destiny. This legendary character is all about guns and credits. Featuring ranged damage options on his character die, Tobias will be able to shoot his way out of most engagements, and his focus and disrupt can aid in his resource management.
His special ability allows him to take 1 resource from an opponent, and if your opponent has non-resources, he still gains 1 resource. He will get paid, no matter what. His Power Action even allows him to give each player 1 resource. Your pockets will never be empty when you are using Tobias. 
His partner, Val, will help him take down any foes that dare cross them. Val is ready to steal more resources with her special ability, and she can back up Tobias with her ranged and indirect damage. Her 1 discard and 1 resource will keep the option available to your team as the game progresses. With both Tobias’ and her special ability, you are able to steal 2 resources and deal 2 damage to one of their characters if your opponent has no resources. A great way to hit your opponent while they are down! 
Tobias can back up his game with his own personal rifle. Interestingly, his rifle only has 1 side dedicated to ranged damage with its 3 ranged for 1 resource. The other sides of his die are focused on more resource synergy. After you play his rifle on him, Tobias may force 1 opponent to lose 1 resource.
Remember that Val can deal 2 damage to an opponent if it does not have any resources as well. Tobias’ Rifle also has a special ability to deal 2 damage to an opponents’ character or 3 instead if it has no resources. Get your special ability dice lined up for a 5 damage action, all the while taking 2 resources from your opponent.
To keep the pressure on with Tobias and Val, use their Hutt Ties. This 1 cost support allows you to use its action to either force an opponent to lose 1 resource or remove 1 of their dice.
This will put your opponent in a tough spot since neither option is of benefit to them. Keep those resources rolling on your side and lacking on your enemy’s side with Tobias Beckett and Val in Star Wars Destiny.
