Dengar is hunting for his bounties in X-Wing 2.0. His Punishing One will live up to its name once he hits the tabletop with his trusty Astromech!
Dengar is a crazy bounty hunter with a sick ability to be able to double-tap your enemies out of existence once he is on their tails. Dengar is an impressive 6 initiative Jumpmaster 5000 pilot with the ability to perform a bonus attack against a target in your forward arc after you defend. This will dare your opponent to attack Dengar once you have his ships locked and at range 1, allowing for 2 attacks! His 2 primary attack value may not seem like much, so let’s adds some upgrades.
The Punishing One title will make your enemies suffer! This upgrade allows you to roll 1 additional attack die from your forward firing arc, making sure that you keep your target in front of you. This will remove your crew slot and replace it with an Astromech. This opens up a whole new world of options for this rugged bounty hunter.
R5-P8 is ready to deliver some extra damage to your enemies whilst he is on the Punishing One. While you perform an attack against a defender in your forward arc, you may spend 1 charge to re-roll 1 attack die. This can help Dengar when he sets up those super double-barreled attacks against a ship that happens to be caught in his forward arc. Be careful with your re-rolls since R5-P8 will damage Dengar if you re-roll into a crit result.
To make the most of your multiple attacks, Dengar will be Fearless. This Elite upgrade kicks on once again in your forward arc and allows you to change 1 of your dice to a hit, as long as the defender is at range 1 and in their forward arc. Being able to blast away at an enemy ship at range 1 with Dengar’s pool of 4 dice, and then attack again when he defends will blow away any ship that happens to get caught in his cross-hairs!
