Ideally, a gun should be smaller than the turret it’s mounted on – for most that’d go without saying. Not so much here…
This turret has several gun options:
- Main cannon
- XL cannon
- Energy cannon
- Mortar
It also has a separate hatch. Why? Well if one were so inclined one might attach another turret!
This set contains 1 big turret, the four gun options shown, a small hatch cover, and a base ring. The turret is roughly 50mm by 35mm at the widest points (~2″ by 1 ⅜”). The large turret’s base is a standard 25.5mm diameter (the base ring being about 26mm ±0.5mm) and the small hatch is a standard 17mm diameter. Those standards are used by a variety of turrets and mounting points from several manufacturers (for example GW’s Ork battlewagon model uses both the large and small sizes).
Size-wise they’re scaled to work well with any 28mm “Heroic” scale Orcs and similar product ranges but they’re suitable for all sorts of other models too. They’re cast in resin and so some clean up may be required. For further details see our Working With Resin page.

Note: the dimensions of the turret is outside what the Royal Mail allows for in their large letter shipping category. Most of our items flat pack fairly well but not this set! Our shipping calculator is weight-based and so we’ve had to fudge the numbers to bump this set into the small parcel shipping band. If your order contains this set and you get charged a scary amount of shipping that’s why. Don’t worry – you will be refunded the excess!
