Remorseless and brutally efficient, this reptilian warrior has carved himself a reputation equaled only by the notorious Boba Fett. His success is at least partly a result of his unique Trandoshan physiology, which allows him to heal from otherwise deadly wounds at an astonishing rate.
This guy is an assassin by all manners of the term. But beyond that, he’s a surprisingly disruptive choice for the Empire. Enrage 3 makes him even scarier as you shoot him. Plus, you can heal up to three wounds per activation. And if your opponent thinks he can hide behind some terrain and buildings, his Expert Climber and Unhindered rule let him ignore almost anything the world has to throw at him. You’ll be able to sick this guy on enemy characters just like an attack dog.
His Mortar Rifle isn’t half bad either. Getting a bunch of shots with the first die being red, your target also has Pierce and Suppressive to overcome. And if you get him into melee, he’s a real killer with his claws.
Bossk’s Tricks of The Trade
Like all other Legion expansions, he’s also coming with his own set of cards to use on the fly. They really have to do with making Bossk’s shots better or throwing a special grenade that poisons enemies in an area.
For targets that use cover to escape his deadly claws and Dioxis charges, the bounty hunter can be Lying in Wait to even the odds. As a three pip card, Bossk is almost certain to activate after an enemy, gaining an ever-useful aim token as a result. Together with Sharpshooter and his Relby-v10, the Trandoshan can shred through even the most fortified enemy positions.
Overall, Bossk is looking to be a real bonus to the Empire. Boba may be getting substituted out of lists for this guy once he actually hits the shelves.
