Star Wars Legion is getting two new expansions soon! Check out what the Clones and Droids will be bringing to the table next.

Fantasy Flight Games previewed two new expansions coming to Star Wars Legion in the form of some Clone Troopers and Droids! Some of these units were spotted in the display cases from an event a while back. Take a closer look at how these units will be playing on the tabletop.

Barc Speeder Clone Trooper Expansion $29.95

barc speeder 1

Versatile and swift, BARC speeders are designed to assist clone troopers as they scout the field, protect key targets, and launch rapid surprise attacks. These durable speeder bikes are armed with heavy blasters and fitted with powerful engines, making them useful in nearly any theater of ground war across the galaxy.

This unit is looking to be a real all-star on the table. It’ll be fast and come with different customization options to fill out whatever battlefield role you need. You can equip a sidecar to the speeder and have it geared with an M-45 Ion Blaster or a Mark II Medium Blaster for a nice dose of firepower. Beyond that, you’ll also have an arsenal of RPS-6 rockets that you can fire from the sidecar as well. This is, by all means, a glass cannon.

This expansion is coming with six total upgrade cards as well. Look for this expansion to be available in stores in the third quarter of 2019.

Droidekas Unit Expansion $24.95

Get yours for less from Miniature Market

droideka 1

Rolling swiftly into battle, Droidekas unleash their arm-mounted twin blasters, pouring out withering torrents of fire.

In this expansion, you’ll be getting four Droidekas a pop with three upgrade cards to send across their comms! Each one is armed with dual twin blaster cannons that give one red and two black dice to your attack pool.

If you want to load up on even more Droids in the days ahead, four Droidekas definitely isn’t a bad start. Look for these guys to hit the market in the third quarter of 2019.

With two new expansions announced, which box will you be getting? Are you going to spam Droidekas and wall off an area of the map? Or will you be bringing Speeders out to play and zip past the enemy’s gun line? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
