GW Reveals 4 New Space Marine Models Coming Next Week

4 new Space Marine model offerings are on the way from Games Workshop next week, as the range is getting some HUGE updates!

Space Marines are coming in hot, and Warhammer Community just took the wraps of week two of the new Space Marine 2.0 release!

Invictor Tactical Warsuit

The first of the new primaris preview units will be here in a week, and as GW eludes too, hobbyists may be buying these in 3’s next week!

This new Elites choice is perfect for players who like their Space Marine armies flexible, deadly and stealthy. It’s not just fantastic in-game either – if you love building and customising your kits, you’ll find this highly detailed set a pleasure to assemble and pose. Arms, weapons and more can be positioned however you please, or left unglued to pivot threateningly towards your foes. Meanwhile, a number of options allow you to further customise your Invictor Tactical Warsuits to ensure that if you’re fielding a strike force of these armoured terrors, they each look distinct. Let’s face it, we all want to field a trio of these, and that means we want each of them to look awesome in their own right!

invictor warsuit

Preeminent Invictor Tactical Warsuit is designed with sound-dampening materials, enabling it to move at great speed with minimal noise output in support of the living pilot’s Vanguard brethren. In fact, it can even set up alongside them in concealed deployment! And yes, that totally is a pistolised heavy bolter strapped to its hip!

First spotted out of a video showcasing some blurred-out models, we thought this would be a new Redemptor Dread and it looks like we were half right. The Invictor Tactical Warsuit is essentially a Redemptor Dread that was hollowed out, had a healthy dude put inside, and had a roll-cage bolted onto the front. As far as weapons go, it looks like there might be four heavy stubbers on the model.

But it doesn’t seem like the Imperium’s smartest idea to dedicate two heavy stubbers to a whole battlesuit arm. Our hope is that these are an all-new weapon that Primaris is going to take full advantage of.

Shadowspear Characters

With the Vanguard Space Marines receiving reinforcements left, right and centre, it’s the perfect time to bring two champions of the Shadowspear boxed set back to the tabletop! The Captain and Librarian in Phobos Armour both make great leaders for your Space Marines army – or just a neat painting project to test your skills on.

Just as we’ve seen in the past, GW is now making characters from a starter or bundle box availabe on their own. Space Marine players can welcome the Phobos Captain, and Librarian next week as their own release.

Look for them to most likely be the new $40 single model rate from the July price hikes.

Primaris Lieutenant

Originally slated for last week, the Primaris Lt. model from the Wake the Dead is on the way once again!

Primaris Lieutenant with Power Sword

Looks like chapter players looking for those supplements will have to wait a bit longer for theirs as there are still plenty of Space Marine releases on the horizon for the late summer.

What are your thoughts on all the new Space Marine support on the way? Which kits will you be wanting to grab first? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group, and sign up to get your free hobby updates newsletter each morning as well!
