Here are the latest Adeptus Titanicus FAQ documents published for the game over the last few years, along with our hot takes and more!
If you play the game, it’s always good to know what is changing! You can download the full thing here, but we’ll highlight some of the changes for you. This is one of the first big FAQs for the game in a while, so there is a decent amount to go over. With 11 pages of stuff, it makes most of the 3-4 pages ones look insignificant.
A lot of it is just wording changes to make the rules easier to read, but there are some actual changes as well. With things like stratagems going down in points, VP changes, and tons more. Let’s get into all the new changes!
New Adeptus Titanicus FAQ & Errata is Here: May 2022
On top of this, there’s an extensive new FAQ to bring campaign books like Shadow and Iron and Titandeath up to date after the recent Traitor Legios supplement. It also brings some clarifications and modifications to your Titan armoury, including tweaks to weapons of the volkite and vortex variety.
Considering they don’t FAQ the game much, we’re totally fine with this one!
The scourging rays of the Volkite Eradicator now gain the Beam trait – whether it’s mounted on a Warhound or a Reaver – making it even better at finishing off crippled god-engines. On the other hand, your Warp Missiles are now limited to a single Vortex Payload upgrade per maniple. The damage inflicted by these esoteric warheads has also changed from D6 to D3+1, making them more reliable – perfect for tearing your opponent’s Titans to pieces.
They are really updating a lot of the older rules to match the power level of the newer stuff, which is always nice!
Combat Drop is pretty cool; just make sure not to drop them near terrain, ad they will be taking a ton of hits at S 9!
Some points changes are here, and a few other small changes to personal traits.
They actually made a ton of changes to the Legio Specific traits, so be sure to read through them to see if your favorite is changing!
They are totally removing Iron Endures and replacing it with Civilisation’s Ruin. The new stratagem will make your Quake weapons basically always give the effects.
They are changing a lot of the damage to D3+1 from D6. While you can get less damage, it will make it more reliable for how much damage you are dealing.
Last but not least, they are increasing the cost of Stygian Veil by one and the rules of it slightly. This is the majority of the FAQ, but you can see below if you want to download the whole thing.

April: 2021 Adeptus Titanicus Loyalist Legios FAQ & Errata
This is a nice clarification, that shouldn’t really be a problem for friendly gaming, but you can paint your Titans any way you want! So if someone gives you a hard time about you are using different rules from your paint scheme, just show them this. But, you should also let people know beforehand what rules you are using, so they don’t get blindsided mid-game.
Nothing crazy here, but a bunch of nice little clarifications. That is the feel for the majority of this FAQ, a lot of clarifications on some confusing rules.
They changed tons of stratagems in the FAQ, so for that alone, it’s totally worth checking out. They even change the cost of a ton of them as well as making changes to the wording.
GW even specifies at the end about why the Warmaster Plasma is +1 at long range instead of the normal -1 we’ve seen on Warhounds.
This is just a little example of how they change, but if you want to see all the changes, you can download the FAQ here.
