salt sw 1Scott decided to lead his forces with a Chapter Master, Librarian, and Chaplain on bike giving the whole army a suite of auras and buffs to work with, helping each turn go a little closer to plan. Troops include an Incursor, an Infiltrator, and an Intercessor squad, provide a variety of small differences but ultimately serving as some meat shields for the more elite portions of the list coming up.

There is also a Relic Contemptor Dread, which has been rising in popularity a little bit recently. He opted for the Twin  Volkite Culverins which provide a decent amount of 2 damage shots, perfect for taking out opposing marines.

salt sw 2The rest of the Elites are entirely made up of Wolf Guard and Wolf Guard Terminators, all of which taking the tried and true claw w/ shield. One did take hammers instead for a little extra oomph. These are great time and time again due to their durability and raw damage if the opponent can’t answer them. Plus when there are 25 of them, they pose a serious threat.

Fast Attacks bring in a single Cyberwolf to round out some extra points, and an Invader ATV for extra mobility and volume of shots to clear out the chaff. Heavy Support brings in 5 Long Fangs with Multi-melta, adding more ranged anti-armor shots. A single Drop pod offers a way to guarantee a unit of Wolf Guard gets in without getting too damaged.

All in all, this list is very elite, with a huge investment in Wolf Guard, which appears to have paid off!

Space Wolves Victory- Congrats to Scott on the win!
