Free Comic Book Day is making a return in 2022 with 45 free comics from both gold and silver sponsors- check it out!
The event will be returning to its traditional date of the first Saturday in May, which this year falls on the 7th. This time it looks like the number of titles will be down from last year, 55 to 45, still, there is plenty to choose from!
If you haven’t heard of the promotion before, stores across North America and the world will be giving out free comics. All you have to do is walk into the store and you can get one for free. Pretty simple!
Free Comic Book Day Coming Back in 2022!
The event has been a little different due to COVID, where it was spread out over 9 weeks with a different comic each week. This kept the promotion running but kept the stores from getting too crowded. This is a return to the original format however with the event just taking place on one day. So if you want that sweet free book, be sure to set the calendar! Below is some of the stuff you can score in 2022.
There will be some really cool titles this year! These are just the gold titles, so if you don’t see something you like above, there will be a bunch of silver sponsors as well. So hopefully something for everyone! Plus, it’s free, so you can’t be too mad at it.
There will also be exclusive busts available this year, with all of them being in limited numbers, meaning they will be collectible. You will have to pay for them, but it’s always fun to get exclusive stuff!
