This Amazing Hellknight Doombike Conversion Will Ride Through 40k!
Day and night the creatures came assault after miserable assault. Mostly the imperial defenders were accosted by the Iron Warriors’ warbands and the thousands of mindless slaves who followed them but at night they would unleash warp engines whose purpose was to both terrify and mutilate in equal measure.
They would hunt in small packs or along causing mayhem wherever they appeared but this….was different.
Whatever this was, it came at dusk just as the sun creep away below the blood-red skies. Unlike those that came before, this one made no attempt to hide its approach. It was huge, even at a distance and it was moving fast, unnaturally fast, faster than it should be capable of and it was coming straight at the defenders. Alarms began to ring out, tired hands took up their arms and readied themselves but then came the sound, like a thousand engines roaring and screaming all at once. A sound that only grew as the beast drew closer and then came the true storm.
Twin-mounted daemon guns mounted on the monster’s flanks opened up and began strafing the front lines with deadly accuracy tearing men and earth to shreds. Without order, the second line answered unloading with their heavies bit with little effect.
It was only now that they could see the creature clearly. Once a servant of the Emperor, it had been corrupted into a new and terrible form, a Hellknight in the service to the dark powers. Worse still its horrific speed was due to a massive tracked vehicle that could only be described as a Doombike. While one taloned fist gripped the massive beast the other sported a whirling chain staff the length of a tank, spitting oil and awful. With every second it drew closer its massive armored frame soaking up everything they threw at it.
These men were no fools they were veterans and stout but as the true scale of the horror drew closer at speed, they had no misgivings, they had nothing that could kill this monster or even slow it. The lines would finally break.

Details
This build took approximately six hours and the model consists of parts from a lord of skulls, a Hellknight, and pieces from a Galvanic Servohaulers set, a little glue a little greenstuff, and a bit of luck. The model is 14 inches from end to end and stands 8 inches tall. Both arms are posable and the torso is magnetized.
Very happy with how this turned out and looking forward to making another one… or two.
