Wargames Atlantic Female Cannon Fodder kit makes perfect alternatives for Imperial Guard miniatures; check out the possibilities in our unboxing!
This week we are cracking open the Wargames Atlantic new set and seeing how they look, plus getting some ideas for what all they can be used for. Penal legions are so hot right now (well, maybe they will be when the new codex hits), and with this set, you can make an affordable army with these great minis!
Rob will show you everything the models come with, how long they take to build, and how easy the conversions are. That way, you can decide if these boxes are worth your hard-earned hobby dollars.
Wargames Atlantic Female Cannon Fodder: Unboxing & Build
The nice thing about this kit is you can do a ton of different builds, save money the more you buy, and even get free shipping to the States for over $50. You can make these with a ton of different looks, whether you just want a pure penal legion or mix and match them, they are perfect!
They even have a $6 upgrade sprue to give them even more options.
Looking at Wargames Atlantic’s site, they have all kinds of cool sci-fi minis but tons of historical stuff. They also distribute to tons of stores throughout the world, so if you want to support your local store as well as them, you may also be able to pick these up locally!
You can find all of the stores that carry WGA on their easy-to-use store finder.
Cannon Fodder Sprues
For the price, it’s almost impossible to find 24 models now for the same quality! They have a ton of bits, weapon options, and basically anything you could want.
The detail is great on these, and depending on the bits you use, they can have a different feel. So if you want more of a penal legion or just a ramshackle horde, these are perfect!
Assembled Minis
I know we said it already, but for the price, the detail and look of these are basically impossible to beat!
They have plenty of weapon options, so if you want a ton of options and minis, this is the set for you.
You can see if you change the heads and body type; they just look so different! There are actually four different head and body types, so there are all kinds of options.
You can go with the more IG style, and they would make perfect alternatives.
Last but not least, you can go with this head style, and they would still work for IG or a bunch of other games.
Size Comparisons
They line up pretty perfectly with the Forge World Death Korps of Krieg.
They also line up with the rest of the Wargames Atlantic line like these bulldogs, so no worries there.
Are They Worth It?
Overall, if you want a lot of miniatures for less, it’s hard to beat these models. They look great, are affordable, and will make your army stand out!
That is it for our look at the Wargames Atlantic female Cannon Fodder kit! That’s just some of all the awesome minis they have, you can check out what else they have been releasing here!
