One collector has already offered a bounty of $100k for the new One Ring Magic card, but there is a slight catch to the offer.
If you haven’t heard, a single One Ring Magic card will be printed in the upcoming LotR crossover set. This card can only be found in collector packs, and gift bundles, and at this point, they promise only one will be made.
So, it does make the value pretty crazy, as it will literally be a one-of-one item.
We’ve seen cards go for ridiculous prices, but this is a wild offer. So, if you want to try your luck and open some English collector boosters or gift bundles, you might turn it into $100k!
Collector Offers $100k for New Magic Card (But there is a catch)
The offer comes from Dan Bock’s Facebook.
Well, here’s the one-of-one card in all its glory! This is one of the few items to generate this type of buzz and such an insane standing offer. However, Dan’s offer comes with quite a catch, as you can’t tell anyone you actually opened it!
This also puts this as the standard offer of sorts, meaning if anyone else puts out a public bid, it either has to match the $100k or beat it. However, he did say in the comments if someone opens it in a public place or on stream, it would invalidate the offer, but he still might buy it anyway.
Either way might be worth it to grab a couple of packs!

Post Malone actually paid $800,000k for a signed Black Lotus card. This was an artist proof signed by Christopher Rush (who unfortunately passed away in 2016), which makes it about as rare as it gets.
So, this is the top end of what someone would be willing to pay for a single card. So, for a one-of-one card, the $100k seems like it might actually be a low offer considering it will be the only one out there.
Dan did say in his post that this is a starting point to get the public bidding started, so once the packs are out, we wouldn’t be surprised to go much higher than this.
Some collectors out there have a lot of cash and will be willing to spend for a one-of-one card.
What Packs Could Contain the Card
As you can see here, just the collector boosters and the gift bundle could contain the card. Either way, the bidding war for this card could get quite insane.
