Four New AoS Miniatures Releasing Inside Regiments of Renown Box Sets

age-of-sigmar-Regiments-of-RenownFour new Regiments of Renown are on the way for Age of Sigmar, and this time, each box will have brand-new hero miniatures inside!

GW announced a year-long season with a new General’s Handbook, but there will also be some new models and kits on the way! While they only have one new miniature in each box, it’s better than nothing, and there’s a chance they will have some decent value.

The first wave of Regiments of Renown didn’t have much value, and the value inside these boxes is pretty much all over the place. Be sure to see can see how they compare to the first set of boxes from February 2023, in our value breakdown article here.

In case you forgot, these new character miniatures were also previewed at Warhammer Fest in May 2023.

Four New AoS Miniatures Releasing Inside Regiments of Renown Box Sets

The latest preview comes from Warhammer Community.

New Regiments of Renown

Four new Regiments of Renown, each with a brand new hero, are also coming soon. These were first previewed at Warhammer Fest 2023, and like the previous Regiment of Renown boxes, each collection fits into a core battalion that allows them to be taken in any Grand Alliance army other than their “home” faction, even if they break the allied points threshold.

These are a terrific way to add something a little spicey to your army without breaking the rules. Plus, getting a bunch of minis at once can be fun.

Fjori’s Flamebearers

New Regiments of Renown 2

The blazing Fyreslayers of Fjori’s Flamebearers are led by the Grimehold Exhile Fjori, a survivor of a destroyed Magmahold who stokes his fellow Fyreslayers into action through fanatical fervour. Alongside Fjori fight 10 Vulkite Berzerkers, five Hearthguard Berzerkers, and five Auric Hearthguard, who hurl themselves into combat to uphold their ancient martial traditions.

This is a pretty decent collection of models, and Fjori is a super cool model. Let’s hope the price is nice on this box.

grimhold exile

A Grimhold Exile is a rare sight even among the bloody-minded and death-defiant Fyreslayers – the sole survivor of a fallen magmahold, carrying with them the traditions and vengeful spirit of their lost home.

Nothing quite beats an angry dwarf, and this new character has plenty of reason to be upset!

Phlugoth’s Shudderhood

New Regiments of Renown 33

From a diseased shroud of fog emerge Phlugoth’s Shudderhood. Under the miserable direction of the eponymous Harbinger of Decay, this band of despondent warriors comprises five Putrid Blightkings leaking vile filth from corrupted protrusions, and a pair of Pusgoyle Blightlords.

This might be perfect if you need to add a serious punch to your army. Plus, Nurgle models always look so cool; so hard to go wrong with them.

harbinger of decay

From a pus-coloured haze ride the Harbingers of Decay, envoys of entropy mounted on cadaverous steeds, hooves tapping out a terminal tattoo.

Jerrion’s Delegation

New Regiments of Renown 4

Caught in the enrapturing delusion propagated by their bestial vampires rulers, the Flesh-eater Courts believe themselves part of an elaborate world of royal courts and knightly vows. Jerrion’s Delegation ride out under the behest of the Marrowscroll Herald Jerrion, whose diplomatic gifts are nothing but bloody flesh and bone. He is accompanied by 20 slavering Crypt Ghouls, three soaring bat-winged Crypt Flayers, and three repugnant Crypt Horrors.

If you want to add an enormous shambling horde to your forces, here you go!

marrowscroll herald

The Marrowscroll Heralds are inspiring warrior-envoys, draped in fine robes and bearing elegantly-worded missives. At least, that’s how they appear to the deluded eyes of the gristle-chewing ghoul peasants that make up the Flesh-eater Courts.

This is shaping up to be a good year for fans of the deranged cannibals on the tabletop!

Braggit’s Bottle-snatchaz

New Regiments of Renown 5

Braggit’s Bottle-snatchaz are a rambunctious mob of squigs and gitz under the loose command of Braggit, a Rabble-Rowza with an enchanted skull that boosts his volume. Braggit bursts out with 10 bouncing Squig Hoppers, a Squig Herd containing two Squig Herders and 10 Squigs, and a gathering of five wise grots known as the Gobbapalooza.

Last but not least, you can get a giant horde of squigs to bounce around and eat your enemy without thought!

rabble-rowza

Most grots are known for being garrulous gitz – especially when there’s trouble to talk their way out of – but the Rabble-Rowzas are especially effusive, and go to war armed with the gift of the gab.

A motivational grot/git is not something you see or hear about every day, but now that we’ve seen it, we can’t un-see it.

As we tread towards summer and new developments in AoS, many more previews and teasers are coming!  Check out the latest Warhammer 40k rumors for the rest 10th Edition, new releases, and more!
