Here’s what scored the top spot as our new homebrew 10th Edition Warhammer 40k army list from the September Storm.
Check out this excellent homebrew list that emerged in a tournament over the weekend that shows that sometimes it’s more about the general’s skill than what you play.

September Storm: Alex Fowler – Thousand Sons 6th Place
Thousand Sons seems to be creeping up in popularity as people try to beat Eldar back down a peg. Alex placed fairly well with a list led by Ahriman, an Exalted Sorcerer, an Infernal Master, and a Sorcerer in Terminator Armour, all acting as great psychic support.
There is also the massive solo threat in Magnus the Red, who is just an all-around beast and has been since he came out!
Troops start with three units of Rubric Marines, who are all durable and come with some great special weapons. There is also a single unit of Tzaangors for a glass cannon melee unit.
As for the other datasheets, there is a single Vortex beast as a dense model with decent enough stats, alongside the massive threat of Scarab Occult Terminators, backed up by a single Tzaangor Enlightened unit.
Finally allied in is the Changeling, which is a cheap enough model that comes with some debuffing tools to mess with opponents.
