Dark Angels blasted their way to a win at Iron Cage GT; here are the top finishing Warhammer 40k army lists from the event!
The tournament is over, and now we can look at which lists managed to secure a place at the top! Check out what these winners brought in their armies with our commentary on their selections.
Dark Angels Win Iron Cage GT: Best 40k Army Lists

3rd Place: Jony Velazquez – Orks
2nd Place: Christian Alessi – Tau
1st Place: Cam Hawkins – Dark Angels
Cam’s winning list was led by Azrael for a great statline and sustained hits to the unit he leads, while three Techmarines help support the vehicles on the list. Speaking of which, the first is a Darkshroud bringing in a solo mobile option, giving cover and stealth to nearby units.
Three Redemptor Dreadnoughts add slower, durable options with great ranged weapons that can efficiently target a variety of threats. Two units of Scouts are cheap bodies to help round out points and for their great redeploy ability if they don’t die.
Two Stormraven Gunships and a Thunderstrike Speeder lend mobility while also having great ranged shot output.
The list then ends on allying in an Assassin to help with enemy characters and some Henchmen as the cherry on top, getting the list up to a crisp 2k.
