The new Blood Angels army set promises to be a game-changer, with fresh models themed around the Death Company, and comes packed with their highly-anticipated 10th edition codex.
Lemartes
Chaplain Lemartes is the boss of the Death Company, and they’ve never been as powerful as they are under his watch. Despite being cursed by the Black Rage himself, Lemartes’ iron will keeps him in control, allowing him to lead the Death Company in legendary charges that outshine all others.
Astorath The Grim
Astorath the Grim, the Blood Angels’ High Chaplain and Redeemer of the Lost is the epitome of an Angel of Death. This legendary destroyer fights like he’s possessed, delivering both death and redemption. Facing Astorath means staring down inevitable doom, whether it’s by his axe or the relentless Death Company army at his back.
Assault Intercessors
Assault Intercessors are some of the most common close-support units in a Chapter’s lineup. They fire their heavy bolt pistols while charging the enemy, then dive into the action, making quick work of their foes with savage chainsword strikes. They will be turned into Death Company with the upgrade sprues included in the box, and if you need jump-pack bits, you can get these great-looking Primaris-style ones here.
Jump Pack Intercessors
Intercessors with jump packs zoom across the battlefield, crashing into enemies like a sky hammer. They make quick work of their foes with point-blank pistol shots and fierce chainsword slashes, then leap off to tackle their next target. Like the Intercessors above, they will be turned into Death Company with the upgrade sprues included in the box.
Brutalis Dreadnought
The Brutalis Dreadnought is a fearsome line breaker and terror weapon—a bipedal combat walker piloted by a fallen Chapter hero. As it advances, it lays down a barrage of covering fire, but its true menace lies in its massive arms. Equipped with crushing fists or ceramite-clad talons, it can squash an armored warrior like a rotten apple or punch through bunker walls like paper.
New Death Company Upgrade Sprues
These upgrades are packed with stylish elements like blood drop accessories, sculpted pauldrons, and noble Baalite visages. They also include signature wargear for the fierce Sons of Sanguinius, such as inferno pistols and eviscerators.
Codex Supplement
The brand new Codex Supplement: Blood Angels is debuting in this box, complete with an exclusive cover. You’ll also get a set of datacards covering all 18 datasheets in the book. In addition to the new and updated units, there are Detachments that expand on the options found in Codex: Space Marines.

Is This Worth It?
In short, yes! This has a ton of value, and even though a lot of it comes in the way of characters, upgrade sprues, and the supplement, it will be the first place you can grab any of the new stuff. However, if you already have all the Death Company minis you want, it might be better to wait and just grab the characters you want when they come out separately. This has some of the best value we’ve seen in a while for an army box, so we’d say this is totally worth the pick-up!

What to Buy Next?
If you’re focusing on the Death Company side of things, you can never go wrong with more assault-style marines and another dreadnought or two! Plus, we know both the Sanguinor and Sanguinary Guard are getting new sculpts, so those may be worth a look for potential additions to your force, along with Dante himself. There is also something to be said about just buying the minis you think are cool and building an army around them! If you need jump pack bits for the Assault intercessors, we have you covered right here!
