Contents List, Pricing & Release Date

Harlequins Combat PatrolIn White Dwarf 510, Games Workshop dropped the Twilight Cavalcade, a Harlequins Combat Patrol for Warhammer 40k. But there’s a catch—unlike most combat patrols, this one doesn’t come in a neat, discounted box ( well, at least not yet).
The new 2025 Harlequins Combat Patrol has a release date of March 8th, 2025 (when WD 510 hits shelves). Here is a contents list of what comes in the new Warhammer 40k Harlequins Combat Patrol box:

  • 2x Skyweavers
  • 12x Harlequin Troupe
  • 1x Starweaver
  • 1x Shadowseer
  • 1x Troupe Master

Harlequins 40k Combat Patrol Combat Patrol Review

Harlequins 2Here, we’ll look at how much it will cost you to actually build this Combat Patrol and then break down if GW might release it as a stand alone box set.

Models Unit Name Value
2 Skyweavers  $58
12  Harlequin Troupe $90 ($45 for 6)
1 Starweaver $45
1 Troupe Master $45 (comes in the Troupe box, so you need one out of that box)
1 Shadowseer $35
Harlequins Combat Patrol
  Total MSRP:  $273

Either way, you look at it… this is going to be the most expensive Combat Patrol out there! The other boxes all retail for $170, so if you want to play this combat Patrol, you better really also want to use the minis in games of 40k as well because it ain’t going to be cheap. Let’s hope GW does release this in an actual box. It won’t have a ton of value, but it will be cheaper than building it on its own.

Check out how this combat patrol stacks up against actual bundle box releases, including the updated  Adepta Sororitas Combat Patrol box from 2024.

Harlequins Combat Patrol $263 17 N/A
New Adepta Sororitas Combat Patrol $168 26 $59

Stompa Boyz Battleforce $210 23 $166

Is it Worth It?

New 40k Movement Harlequins

Well, if you already play Harlequins and have all the minis, it will be nice to also have some CP rules to play with. If you don’t have the minis already, it will cost a decent amount to build. So, if you need the models for your full Aeldari 40k army, using them in more than one game mode would be fun. However, we’re not sure building this from scratch will be worth the time. Especially considering the Troupe Master is not a separate model and comes in the Troupe box, meaning you will have to buy an entire box to build just that model.

How Many Points Is This?

So, you’re wondering how many points the Harlequins Combat Patrol box racks up, eh? Well, in Warhammer 40k 10th edition, this box hits with about 520 points. But, as you know, the tides of the Grimdark universe are ever-shifting, and with the latest points updates, that number could quickly fluctuate. One minute, you’re ready to dance throughout the galaxy, and the next, you’re recalculating your list because the points gods have decided to have some fun.

Harlequins Combat Patrol Contents & Description

The Twilight Cavalcade is the ultimate combat force drawn from  17 miniatures ready to storm the battlefield and obliterate anything in their path. If your enemies thought they could hold the line, they’re in for a rude awakening. Melee mode: activate!

Skyweavers

Skyweaver squads are the ultimate hit-and-run artists—packing serious firepower and moving so fast their enemies barely get a chance to react. They zip around the battlefield, outmaneuvering anything in their way before unleashing a storm of razor-sharp shuriken and crackling energy blasts. Whether it’s foot soldiers or hulking tanks, everything in their path ends up either shredded or sizzling wreckage.

Harlequin Troupe

Harlequin Troupe

Harlequin Troupes don’t just fight—they put on a deadly show. They blitz across the battlefield, striking fast and hard, wiping out enemies before they even know what hit them. Once they’re in the thick of it, it’s pure carnage with style—a lethal dance of death, their masks flickering with their foes’ deepest fears.

Starweaver

Starweavers blaze across the battlefield like a storm of shattered light, zipping through the chaos with speed and deception that leaves enemies flailing. These nimble attack vehicles don’t just put on a dazzling show—they pack a punch, too. At the back, there’s a transport platform, perfect for dropping off a squad of Harlequins right where they can cause the most mayhem.

Shadowseer

Harlequin ShadowseerThe Shadowseer doesn’t just fight—they mess with minds. Illusion, misdirection, and sheer terror are their weapons of choice, and when they step onto the battlefield, order crumbles. Soldiers break, replaced by chaos—screams, incoherent babbling, and wild, panicked gunfire. And through it all, the Shadowseer moves like a ghost—calm, controlled, and utterly terrifying in the eye of the storm.

Troupe Master

Troupe MasterTroupe Masters are the directors of destruction, orchestrating every move their Harlequins make to keep the performance flawless on the battlefield. They don’t just lead—they set the pace, reading the ever-shifting chaos of war like a script and making sure every strike lands with deadly precision.

Their peers willingly look to them as the face of triumph—or disaster. And in the biggest battles, the most skilled among them take the reins of an entire masque, ensuring the show goes on in the most spectacularly lethal way possible.

At this point, you have to decide if you want to build a full Harlequin army, go Reaper’s Wager (with the Drukhari), or just build out the rest of your forces as a normal Aeldari army. You have a pretty solid force of about 500 points, so this can slot perfectly into either a Drukhari or Aeldari army! Especially with all the new Aspect Warriors, it’s hard not to want to go that way.

However, if you want to go full Harlequins, you’ll need a bunch more vehicles, Weavers, and some more characters to buff up your troops!

Final Thoughts on the Harlequins Combat Patrol

If you’re looking to amp up your Warhammer 40k experience, this is an interesting excuse to use models for both full games of 40k and get some extra CP rules. With a solid lineup of miniatures, you’ll be charging into battle with confidence and style. Let’s be honest: who doesn’t want a squad of badass characters and shiny new units in their collection?
