GW’s latest Warhammer 40k rumor engine preview looks like a splash effect, could it be Deepkin or something as simple as a fish?
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed. Let’s take a look and try to guess until then!
Rumor Engine: March 18th, 2025
The latest rumor engine is very clearly some liquid and a splash-like effect. The clearest option is water, with either someone hitting/running/swiping something through it or something jumping out of it! That means Idoneth Deepkin or another sea creature are both big possibilities!
While Idoneth might be the most sea-related faction in all of Warhammer, there actually aren’t too many of their miniatures with splash effects. The Eidolon of Mathlann does have some very unique water-flowing effects though, which might be something to think about when imagining a new miniature!
Still, this is a hard engine to place; it really could be anything, just with a neat water effect!
