Codex FOURTH Heldrake is here (Black Legion)

By Rob Baer | August 17th, 2013 | Categories: Chaos Space Marines, Product Review, Warhammer 40k News

The new Black Legion digital supplement dropped last night, and of course I bought it, and after about five minutes of reading immediately regretted my purchase.

So looks like were 1 for 3 on these supplements actually being “good” IMHO.  I’m not going to do a full review because honestly I’m so mad at the underwhelming rules that I cant even give the rest of the book a fair shake yet.
So I’ll probably give it a week or two and then read it all.

But in the meantime I can tell you that the warlord traits are pretty decent, and the fundamental new rules conferred are sound, they are just well, boring IMHO.

The biggest competitive play here I think it the fact that well you can legally ally Black Legion with CSM book and now take FOUR Helldrakes.  Which I’m sure someone will do….
Sigh. I just don’t know what else to say…. sorry competitive players.. we may have got taken again -MBG

All around the globe, clamors of 4 Heldrakes (under 2000pts!), nice but expensive artifacts, and chosen as default troops choices is ringing the sounds of bells. So far I have been hearing mixed words about it, but there is always the internet rage. So lets take a look at what is in the new supplement.
