3D Orientation & Product Specialist

We are currently looking for goal-oriented, like-minded individuals who want to learn a highly useful skill in the fast-paced 3d printing and design industry.

Slicer, LLC (who does fulfillment for the Spikey Bits webstore) has immediate part-time and full-time opportunities for 3D Orientation and Product Specialists. Positions are available for both on-site and remote work.

We will provide on-the-job training that you really can’t get anywhere else. Note we are not looking for 3D designers; this job already uses existing designs licensed from various artists and brands.

REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED. Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge, including geo-spacial awareness and measuring conventions, both standard and metric. Strong verbal and written communication. 

Must be able to work some mornings depending on work location (on-site or remote).

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a dependable, self-starter with high attention to detail, have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn; problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment; with ability to follow instructions & work independently; Computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word (or the Google suite equivalents is a must). Familiarity with Autodesk products, 3D modeling programs/ slicers, Photoshop, and Adobe suite is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare 3d files for our fleet of printers daily based on orders. Create new 3d model files with proper supports from external partner files to facilitate long-term order fulfillment. Import data from these files to tracking spreadsheets to monitor costs, etc., and help create product listings on the webstore.  

Must monitor own work to ensure quality. 

Pay starts at $13 an hour, negotiable. You will also receive a discount of 30% on the products we retail and create content for: (Games Workshop, Asmodee, Infinity, Privateer Press, Warlord Games, Mantic, 3D printed Sci-Fi / Fantasy miniatures, and other great boutique models, just to name a few).
