Fat Shark Reveals New 40k Darktide Gameplay Trailer

We saw the trailer over on the Darktide Twitter, but then the full YouTube video from Gamespot.

darktide playable classesIf you played Vermintide, you know that there were five unique characters, each with very distinct playstyles and personalities. With these first four we see, it looks like it may be more of the same in that aspect! It also looks like 2 of these will be included in the new figures (the Ogryn and the Guardsman).

chaos cultThe main targets appear to be some pox walkers, minor daemons, and cultists/traitor guard. The past games had tons of support and added entire factions’ worth of enemies through updates and DLC, so don’t be surprised if the list grows exponentially. Plus, this model will be included in the new figs as almost a 1:1.

New McFarlane Darktide 40k Action Figures First Look!

McFarlane Toys just dropped their summer showcase, and the new Warhammer 40k Dark Tide action figures were center stage!

Darktide action figures 3Starting with the traitor side of things, this figure is pretty awesome! It looks like he’ll be outnumbered to start, as he has to beat a guardsman and an Ogryn!

Darktide action figures 2The Cadian is pretty cool with a giant chainsword!

Darktide action figuresProbably our favorite fig of the group, and from what they were saying, it will be a megafig. While it will be a little more expensive, but still way cheaper than any of the competition.

Plus, if you throw this guy down on the table to watch over your games, how can your small Ogryns not be motivated to smash through the enemy!

This large Megafig matches his 7-inch scale action figure counterparts based off the Warhammer 40,000: Darktide video game (sold separately). Darktide figures 7If you want an awesome figure to paint up, then the artist proof is the way to go!

Darktide figures 8

A crude and exceptionally resilient breed of abhuman, Ogryn hail from a number of high gravity worlds. They compensate for their lack of intelligence with overwhelming physicality – the brutish creatures can shrug off wounds that would kill an Imperial Guardsman several times over. They prove the age-old maxim that might makes right!

Darktide Wave 6 Traitor Guard & Artist Proof

Darktide figures 3You can pick this up either way, but both look great and are very affordable.

Darktide figures 5

The Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Wave 6 Traitor Guard 7-Inch Scale Action Figure is incredibly detailed and based off the Warhammer 40,000: Darktide video game. The Traitor Guard comes with a Lasgun and a display base. This fully articulated action figure has up to 22 moving parts and is showcased in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide themed window box packaging.

The brave, well-trained, and determined veterans are – or were – humans; conscript troops who were recruited to regiments and sent into the unknown with no idea of what they’d face. Most troopers serve brilliantly and valiantly, remaining loyal to their Imperial duty despite everything they experience. But others fall prey to the insidious touch of chaos. They become – literally, in some cases – the very thing they are fighting against.

Imperial Guard regiments are often called upon to fight grueling wars of attrition lasting years or even decades. As time passes, each company will shrink in size as casualties take their inevitable toll. Veterans are battle-hardened elites, the first squad into an assault, and the last to retreat.
