Imperial Bullgryn were spotted joining forces with the Crimson Fists at Adepticon 2019. Check out this fun alliance all right here!
Adepticon 2019 pulled armies all around the globe. You wouldn’t believe some of the armies that were spotted on the tabletops. We’ll be checking out this Guard/Space Marine alliance here!
Bullgryn Beatdown! Adepticon 2019 Army Showcase
Bullgryn were spotted holding the line while the Crimson Fists unloaded everything they had at the enemy. What’s better than an Aegis defense line? A Bullgryn shield wall!
A Priest was spotted shouting litanies of motivation that the Bullgryn could understand. But this isn’t just any Priest. He’s Taddeus the Purifier out of the Blackstone Fortress game.
The hobbyists went above and beyond on this one. They actually made a comic showing how the two forces linked up and fought back-to-back. Just look at the comic strip in the backdrop!
Have you ever seen a Primaris Pedro Kantor? While his Primaris rules don’t actually exist, he definitely looks a lot more proportionate. Pedro might be a minor character in 40k, but don’t sleep on him. He’ll creep up on you and show you what a real power fist feels like.
Looking at this list competitively, it’s definitely got the one-two punch combo! Bullgryn are deceptively tanky and can tarpit or outright murder something in combat. When you combine that with the shooting capability from the Crimson Fists that only get better when they’re outnumbered, you’ve got a real threat.
The Crimson Fists got a much-needed update in a White Dwarf from earlier on. While it wasn’t enough for a full codex, it was definitely enough to hate on horde armies like Orks.
What do you think about this army combo? What’s your favorite unit to spam on the table? Have you ever seen a comic strip made for an army’s backstory? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
