The Imperium wasn’t about to back down from this fight at 2019’s Adepticon Check out this beautiful army and how creative it got! Great job hobbying!
2019’s Adepticon was an explosive event that brought in some of the most beautiful armies and creative display boards from all around the world. Check out this army as we go through all its details.
Imperium Holding The Line: Adepticon Army Showcase
Looking at this army, it’s got covered in creativity. From the smallest model all the way to the display board itself. Nurgle decided to get up close and personal with some Death Guard Terminators backed by a revolting Land Raider. That tank alone probably has 10+ hours of hobby love on it!
Bikers were spotted moving out from the headquarters as Chaos spreads its taint across the building.
Just look at how quickly the Citadel looks to be defiled by Nurgles… “gifts”.
Keeping the true theme of Slaanesh, the more tentacles the better. This guy looks like he’s taking after big daddy Fulgrim himself. All in all, this is a seamlessly converted model. With the Talos tentacles as a second pair of arms and a slithering tail that’s meant to make your skin crawl, this Daemon Prince is repping the god of excess to the max.
Looking at the Imperium, this is the view that their tanks have the pleasure of looking at just before they get trucked by rotten dudes in heavy Ceramite armor. All of the Guard have the same fate. Either die by the enemy or die a coward for attempting to run.
True to form, the Mechanicum are hanging back with their firepower best at longer range. The Dominus is “safe” inside the remaining half of the citadel cherishing every second before Nurgle comes to reclaim what’s been his from the start.
All in all, this army is full of crisp paint jobs and we’ve gotta give the hobbyist extra points for adding on that Nurgly rot to the walls of the overrun sector of buildings.
