Titanicus is about to be getting a ton of support in the Doom of Molech book. Check out the new strats, battle groups, and legio rules coming soon!

Warhammer Community previewed some of what’s on the way for Titanicus with Doom of Molech’s content. Check out a new maniple, stratagems, and more.

Four Legions at Molech

There will be a total of four new Legions with their rules at Molech. Legio Vulcanum, Crucius, Fortidus, and Interfector. WHC gave us a heads up on Fortidus already:

fortidus

Fortidus is exactly that! They are the Imperium’s fortitude embodied. Titans ignore penalties they may take when rolling a command check. Plus, they ignore any kind of effects that ever force them to reroll a successful command check. On top of that, Knight banners in your force can reroll command checks to avoid becoming shaken as long as big brother is watching over them on the battlefield.

These guys really are just a stubborn group of Titans. While we haven’t seen them play on the tabletop just yet, their trait alone makes them look solid.

Fortis Battle Maniple

Titanicus Feature

While we haven’t seen the full layout of the Maniple just yet, this maniple lets your Warlord and Reaver Titan merge shields to ignore armor modifiers. If you’re needing your Titans to really withstand some shooting as you march them down the field, this might be the Maniple you’ve been looking for.

Ferrox Light Maniple

This maniple is geared towards the faster-moving Titans. Obviously, you’ll be wanting to get up close and personal with these guys so load your Reavers up with fists and meltas. These guys get bonuses to penetrating armor when they reach a certain distance from their target and can even choose between their WS or BS if they lock themselves into melee combat.

Seven Knight Houses Coming to Molech

Titanicus Knights

While Knights may be the size of a Space Marine in Titanicus, they can still pack a punch and topple a Warlord. Doom of Molech is going to give the player the option of taking an all-Knight list as well. But with an all-Knight list comes some new rules! Warhammer Community previewed the qualities for House Devine. One of seven Houses found in Molech:

Prideful Hunter makes the seneschal a nasty melee machine by giving him some bonus speed and guaranteed charge orders. He may be small but don’t get too close to him or his buddies. Meanwhile, Old Guard is a pseudo Fortidus Legion’s rules. Your banners can’t become shaken but one banner has to always be given some kind of charge order every round past the 2nd. -That’s the tradeoff.

34 New Stratagems in Molech

molech strat

While there are thirty-four new stratagems coming to Molech, we’ve seen a Loyalist and Traitor Legion strat previewed so far. Endurance of Terra is essentially your “get out of jail free” card. You can use this when a Titan suffers critical damage. Just pop this card and try to roll equal to or less than the damage suffered and you’ll ignore everything. If you do end up rolling higher, your Titan still takes the damage but you can keep the card for later use. Situational but potentially useful as well!

As for the Traitor’s Living Armor stratagem, you can completely heal a section of your Titan. If your enemy has been pinging your head all game, just pop this stratagem and roll equal to, or higher than the damage suffered on a D10 and everything becomes completely repaired.

Titans are hard enough to take down in the game and it looks like they’ll be getting a bit more harder still. What do you think about the previews for Molech so far? What Legion do you play?
