For… Sigmar? New GW Rumor Engine Emerges

gw rumor engine

A new GW rumor engine is here and while it’s got a familiar shape, we’re not entirely sure who it’s going to or to what game. Take a look.

Warhammer Community revealed the latest rumor engine right on time. And while the bit might be an easy shape to identify, exactly who or what it goes to is the tricky part.

Keep in mind that the rumor engine could be a good bit of time away as we’ve seen some rumor engines hang around for about a year before they get fully previewed!

It looks like it’s no mistake that this is a hammer. And while hammers are usually Sigmar’s thing, it looks entirely too ornate. This is something more fitting for Slaanesh. However, it’s not like him to bring a barbaric unwieldy hammer to a fight. His followers are more likely to bring a stupidly-sharp sword. So what could this go to?

It’s probably not for 40k as there’s nothing that gives this bit away as a power weapon (i.e. there aren’t any cables or battery packs). But looking to AoS, the most recent support we’ve seen are the Ossiarch Bonereapers and Ogors. Both of which don’t fit the cosmetic style to carry this thing around.

Is this yet another faction coming to Age of Sigmar? Do you think it could be an old faction getting rebooted? Or is it maybe a brand new faction getting ready to hit the scene?
