Ogor Mawtibes and Ossiarch Bonereapers have just gotten their first official FAQ for Age of Sigmar. Don’t miss these updates!
Warhammer Community announced a few tweaks that they gave the Ogor Mawtribes and Ossiarch Bonereapers. These are the first official changes we’ve seen since their release. There aren’t too many changes overall, but things should probably be a bit smoother now.
Ogor Mawtribes Changes
For the Ogors, the Rhinox Scraplauncher got a bonus attack, which is nice but nothing game-breaking. The Icebrow Hunters’ Mighty Throw ability also had some minor wording changes. However, the damage output and ways to trigger the ability stayed the same.
Beastclaws got changed pretty heavily in this go-round from GW. But at least they don’t take up the Behemoth battlefield role if you field them as above. Take that Flesh Eater Courts!
Ossiarch Bonereapers Changes
There were a few more changes to the Bonereapers over the Mawtribes. Perhaps two of the biggest changes were that Vokmortian can now pick from the entire Bonereapers Spell Lore. Plus, Katakros had his degrading table altered. It might be annoying now that the statline of the factions’ number one character is already changed, especially in the harder to remember degrading stat profile. However, that’s nothing a little tape and printer paper can’t fix.
Finally, in the designers’ commentary section, one of the cooler notes to make is that the Mortal Touch spell works with the Umbral Spellportal for some extra range. Plus, this just means you can give people the bad touch from the safety of your own ranks.
Overall, what are your thoughts on these changes? Have you played with the Bonereapers on the tabletop? How are they compared to the Mawtribes?
