The cry of war has been sung and the Untamed Beasts are ready. Jack of Clubs painting is back with another tutorial on painting some Warcry models.
The Warcry model line is fantastic and a great way to show off some painting tips and tricks. Jack of Clubs is bringing in some Untamed Beasts from Warcry for just that very thing.
To start our Untamed Beasts model, our plan is to get some dark flesh tones. A nice pre-prime of StynlRez Ebony Flesh gets our Untamed Beasts model started. Pro Acryl Shadow Flesh is our next highlight, which will brighten up his skin. Make sure to let a little Ebony Flesh show through in the darkest recess to act as a shadowing effect. Pro Acryl Tan Flesh highlights our model with a high angle airbrushing to pick out our details.
Pro Acryl Black Brown goes on great to help color his animal pelt cloak. Use your paintbrush to get a nice even base coat. Pro Acryl Bright Umber goes on great to color in all of the leather straps on our Untamed Beasts model. Keep the coats of Bright Umber light so as not to hide any details.
Pro Acryl Dark Blue is the color for our cloth parts of the Untamed Beasts model. Pro Acryl Coal Black goes on next to fill in his leather harness and leather skull cap. To paint in all our boney bits, a 50/50 mix and Pro Acryl Ivory and Dark Umber is perfect. Now that all our base coats are done, we can move on to the weathering and washing.
Mr. Hobby Weathering Multi Black adds some nice shadowing and weathering to our Untamed Beasts model. This will bring our model together and ready to hit the tabletop.
