The 2020 LVO brought players from all across the world to roll some dice under one roof. With the meta healthier than ever, we saw some incredible armies from the event. Now that it’s all over, we can show special attention to some of the most beautiful armies we’ve ever seen. With this Guard army ready to wage war in a classic OD green, it’s time to dive in.
Cadian Muscle! 2020 LVO Imperial Guard Army Showcase
This army comes to us from Sean Porter
Sean married a bunch of Guardsmen bodies with a nasty tank column for the 2k tournament at the 2020 LVO. And for that extra little twist of melee spice, a beatdown blob of Bullgryn also made the cut!
Getting up close and personal with the models in the army, that Guardsmen on the right does not have any business being that JACKED. Seriously, his battle-brothers probably have some serious tricep envy. Being that he’s tore up from the floor up, the Priest probably requested that he stand beside him in case combat gets a little too close.
With so many bodies to get up the board, some Chimeras fitted with some of the cheapest loadouts were also taken. That way they could drop the dudes out up the board an then charge straight into the enemy and tie them up.
While Bullgryn pile out of the Chimeras with a swarm of Guardsmen, don’t forget that they’re also all being supported in a hail of gunfire from a Basilisk, a Wyvern, and an entire armor column of Leman Russes. Awesome job on this army!
