Hey guys a good friend and fellow gamer John (aka Spaniard) from back in New York, was recently hospitalized for Kidney Failure and Loss of Vision.
Apparently the issue is still undiagnosed and while he has regained some vision in one of his eyes, he still remains on Dialysis and in the hospital.
His family is trying to raise money to help offset the costs of this hospitalization and any potential changes in his cost of living in the future.
I personally can not say enough good things about this family, as they rented to me when I lived in Long Island for a few years, and basically opened their home to me as well.
Please help me, help them. Even if it’s just the spare change you would spend on a soda today, everything and anything you can contribute would help them.
There is also fund raiser happening in a few weeks (Friday 10/20 9pm EST) by another friend of mine at a notable local restaurant in their area as well, so it would be nice to show them the gaming community’s support as well.
The link to the fund raiser site is below. Please help if you can! -MBG
