We’re back in the trenches! Though if you leave the trenches, do they ever really leave you? Well, I’ve never managed to get the mud off. It’s like a second layer of boot, now.
Speaking of boots:
Looks like Brinton could be in for a rough time… who knew being pompous and arrogant would rub some people the wrong way?
The fellow in the background is Hertzog, Brinton’s faithful manservant. He was in the background of the last chapter title page too, and he’s definitely one of my favorite NPC’s. We’ll get to see him more in action as we go!
