New Forge World Space Marine Pre-Orders For Horus Heresy

forge world new releases games workshop warhammer community thundehawk

Forge World is coming in hot again this week with more Space Marine Horus Heresy pre-orders. They are showing the White Scars some love this time around.

Forge World has been dropping a lot of great looking releases for 30k recently and these are no exception. However, the Praetor would make a great Captain in 40k and the Leviathan would just help you represent your White Scar chapter pride on the table as well.

White Scars Praetor $33

ws praetor

Praetors are the basic backbone HQ unit for Legions in 30k. They are a solid, flexible option in the game that you can get a ton of usage out of for the points that he costs. While this guy might be kitted with some basic power armor/power weapon, we’re confident that you’ll be getting tons of use out of him on the table.

White Scars Leviathan (Armless) $78

ws leviathan 2

Moving onto some heavy firepower, the Leviathan is a solid option for both 40k and 30k. It’s a tanky frame that has loads of different weapon combinations that can excel in any situation. (Assuming it’s kitted right). If you’ve got all the weapons you need at home and have everything magnetized, you may just want to save a few bucks and grab the armless version. While the White Scars didn’t have too many Dreadnoughts in their arsenal, sometimes a Leviathan is too good to pass up.

Leviathan (Storm Cannon & Siege Claw) $120

ws leviathan 3

If this is your first Leviathan, you can always get the version that comes with a Storm Cannon and Siege Claw. This is a decent combo but the real juicy stuff is two Storm Cannons in 40k and a Grav Flux Bombard in 30k. Both are WIDELY used across all games. We definitely recommend that if you do go with this option that you magnetize everything. Just so you can throw more weapons on in the future without having to buy another Dreadnought.

Keep in mind: We did the math and it turns out that you aren’t saving any money by buying the Dreadnought with the weapon already. So if you wanted to kit him another way, just add on some weapons to the order of your armless Leviathan from above, and take advantage of the bundle sale.

And there you have it! The latest pre-orders from Forge World! These will all be shipping on May 24, 2019, so go ahead and make your orders in the meantime. What do you think about the White Scars models for 30k? How do you like your Dreadnought kitted out?
