New Citadel Contrast Paint Racks Spotted!

exclusive games workshop store wal hor miniature

Don’t miss the all-new paint racks for Citadel Contrast paints along with the rest of the new color line that was just spotted!

Contrast paints aren’t quite like any other paint that GW offers. They’re too thick to be a wash but they’re also too runny to be a base or layer. It’s in its own weight class and is designed to get your droves of minis ready for the table.

Coming from an Industry Insider, we’ve got a first look at where the paints are going to be!

Early Talk of Contrast Getting It’s Own Home

Before we even knew that the paint would be called Contrast, we felt like it would only make sense for the new paint line to get a home on the GW paint rack. The red box highlighted is actually extra storage for any kinds of other paints the shop might have ordered.  Back in April, we reported that a new rack addition may be on the way for stores:

Citadel hobby displays inside game stores will be getting an extension rack for the new product launch. Big things are coming, BIG!

Looks like the new Contrast, and additional paints will now have their own home on the rack system that you have been seeing for a few years now!

Here’s a closer look at how we’ll be seeing the new paint racks in stores. GW has made an extra column to the left that will fit the entire contrast paint line. On top of that, there’s going to be some new banners on the rack promoting Citadel Color.

While we’ve got a ton of new paints headed our way, it looks like they won’t be taking up too much space.
