Games Workshop just revealed all the new Horus Heresy Mechanicum offerings and White Dwarf releases, which will be available for pre-order this week!
New Horus Heresy & White Dwarf Pre-Orders Revealed
Well, it looks like Games Workshop is unleashing a whirlwind of new Horus Heresy and White Dwarf goodies for us to drool over this week! With Mechanicum and Knight battle groups ready to storm the battlefield, and the latest issue of White Dwarf packed with hobby goodness, it’s like we’re being hit with a full-scale hobby invasion.
Here are the details for these new releases, which will be available to pre-order with your favorite retailers on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, around 1 p.m. EST in the States.
Warhammer Horus Heresy Pre-Orders
New pre-orders are here for The Horus Heresy, bringing a tidal wave of excitement for all 30k players out there!
Whether you’re a veteran from the old Forge World days or a newcomer looking to plunge into the rich lore and epic battles for the first time, these pre-orders offer new products that will transport you right into the heart of the Horus Heresy.
Mechanicum Battle Group
The forces of the Omnissiah have arrived in plastic, bringing with them the new Mechanicum Battle Group, which includes 29 plastic miniatures.
This set features six cyborg Thallax as the core – armored shock troops armed with lightning guns and jetpacks. Additionally, it includes two Castellax Battle-automata for heavy fire support and 20 Adsecularis Tech-thralls which act as a troop screen for capturing objectives. Completing the set is a Triaros Conveyor, a dedicated transport unique to the Mechanicum and armed with volkite calivers. The package also comes with three transfer sheets: a Mechanicum Macro-Constructs sheet with 394 decals and two Mechanicum Construct sheets with 558 decals.

Knight Battle Group: Castigator and Acheron
The Knight Battle Group includes a Cerastus Knight Castigator and an Acheron variant, forming a powerful combination on the battlefield. The Castigator is equipped with a colossal bolt cannon and tempest warblade, posing a threat to infantry and light vehicles. Meanwhile, the Acheron features an arm-mounted flamestorm cannon and a reaper chainfist, perfect for taking down heavy armor. Additionally, the box contains two Cerastus Knight transfer sheets with a variety of icons and decals.
New White Dwarf Pre-Orders
The latest issue of White Dwarf is up for pre-order, and it’s hotter than a plasma gun on overcharge! Whether you’re a Warhammer veteran or a newcomer still figuring out the difference between a Bolter and a Lasgun, this mag has something for everyone.
