Games Workshop is bringing hobby back! We show you if the Citadel Water Pot, Painting Handle XL, and Assembly Handle pass or fail when it comes to hobbying!

Games Workshop has released a slew of new hobby tools to the market this week. Join us as we take a look at the new Painting Handle XL, Citadel Assembly Handle and water pot for Games Workshop, so you can decide how much new hobby you need for your next painting project.

Citadel

First up is the new XL painting handle. This handle is designed to hold your bigger hobby projects while you are painting. It can accommodate anywhere from 50mm bases to 105 mm bases. But, be careful when you put the larger bases in the handle as the spring seem to have a fair amount of tension.

That being said, this handle will keep your hands off your painting project while you are working on it, and give you a better angle of attack for your paintbrush.

The new Assembly handle is designed to hold your minis, either while the glue dries or it could also be used to hold smaller bits and armor plates while you paint. Whatever you do make sure you don’t throw away the foam that the handle comes with; it will work great to keep your handle upright and intact on your hobby desk while you have pieces attached!

Last but not least we get a look at the latest edition of the Citadel Water Pot. This is probably the best tool from these releases. This water pot is twice the size as the previous releases and has some great features. Fist off the ribs on the side of the pot are great for cleaning your brushes. Also, the small cuts in the side of the pot are great for making a sharp point on your brushes, no spit needed.

These new hobby tools seem poised to make great holiday gifts for you or a hobby loved one.

As always keep those hobby muscles strong, stay in the trenches, and check out our hobby tool unboxing video below.
