genestealer cults start collectingReady to save hobby $$$? The Genestealer Cults are getting a start collecting box. Check out what’s inside as well as the overall value.

With another Start Collecting Box on the way, we’ve already gotten a heads up on what the price would be from multiple retailers. So while there’s time to get ready for its release, here’s the overall value of what’s inside!

Genestealer Cults Start Collecting Box $95

Get Yours For Less From Miniature Market! or Dicehead Games

In the last year, we saw GW raise their prices across their entire product line. With that came more expensive Start Collecting boxes. Now, while the margins for savings may be a bit smaller, you’re still getting a pretty decent start into the army for less. But it definitely wouldn’t hurt grabbing multiple boxes of this. It has two different Troop options and GSC need a bunch of bodies- Lists usually run multiple Battalions.

With that covered, let’s get into what’s inside and what you save!

  • Achilles Ridgerunner $50
  • Neophyte Hybrids $40
  • Acolyte Hybrids $40
  • Acolyte Iconward $30

Total MSRP: $160

Total Savings: $65

Saving over $50 on this kit means that you’re essentially getting the Ridgerunner for free and the Iconward half-off. Definitely not a bad deal. But remember, as we’ve said before…Genestealer Cults are a horde army and this box only begins to lay down the framework for what you need.

One of the star units is Acolyte Hybrids and some players run 40+ of them. This box only comes with 5. Be prepared to do some heavy spending and needing multiple boxes if you’re starting from scratch.

With GSC getting their own first Start Collecting Box, what do you think about the units inside? What’s your favorite unit out of the codex?
