GW’s latest Warhammer 40k rumor engine preview is clearly a book, but there isn’t any iconography, maybe for the Inquisition or Old World?

Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed. Let’s take a look and try to guess until then!

Rumor Engine: January 28th, 2025

The newest image is clearly a humanoid holding a pretty vanilla book, and Inquisition is the perfect fit for something so hipster in 40k. Otherwise, a ton of possibilities are in The Old World and even humans in Age of Sigmar or specialist games!

Warhammer Empire of Man 9

A few weeks ago we saw the rerun of the old-school Warpriest of Sigmar, one of which prominently has a book! We could see a revitalized version of these kits or a even new character in Old World to match this generic book.

Still, though… who knows? Curve balls happen, and specialist games usually get some super unique models. We will have to wait and see!
