Yo Dawg, Today I’m going to answer the age old question, checkers; how do they work!? Get your squares on point with this video!

I’m coming in from the Hollywood beats lab and I’m about to unleash some amazing Hobby Tech on you. I’m going to show you the fastest and easiest way to get your checkers game right.

Step 1. Mechanical Pencil in your checkers

Step 2. Airbrush ready black, it’s great because it’s the right consistency. We’re going to go over the pencil marks. Go Slow and Methodical. Don’t draw horizontal lines.

Pro-Tip: don’t overload your brush on water, it’ll make the paint runny and mess up your checks.

Step 3. The triangles, we’ve done this in the past but you don’t need to pencil these out. These are super easy.

Step 4. Mix white and grey to edge the white boxes. You’re going to want hard edges and transition in.

Step 5. Touch up the boxes and make sure your boxes super black.

Step 6. We’re adding some very dark grey into the black squares, we’re doing some lines and leaving the hard black edge.
