Sergio Calvo’s new Kickstarter, Asura: New Horizons, offers new hand-sculpted miniatures, luxury brushes, and even painting tutorials!
A professional miniature painter with a 15-year resume, Sergio has launched a new Kickstarter project touting some awesome rewards, including Miniatures, Brushes, and Tutorials! If you’ve seen his work, you know he uses amazing hobby supplies, and this project will let you level up your hobby game!

Since this project has so much in it, we’ll let them tell you about it:
Asura – New Horizon expands our miniature collection by introducing three more characters from the world of Arua; Kuma, Seimei and Koboshi. All miniatures have been hand sculpted by Allan Diego Carasco and painted by Sergio Calvo, in collaboration with some of the most talented artists from the miniature painting world. Made from sturdy cast resin by the talented Macone to guarantee the best quality for your miniature painting needs. All miniatures are scaled at 70 mm and include extras that can be unlocked as part of the stretch goals during the campaign. The campaign also includes natural and synthetic brushes lovingly crafted by Escoda as part of Sergio Calvo’s artistic signature series.
While the miniatures look amazing, getting tutorials and brushes to paint your own is just as awesome!
An ancient and powerful force of evil begins to emerge from distant lands, threatening to spread its dark shadow over the territory of Asura. The gods, desperate to prevent this arrival of wickedness, cast a spell upon the sacred Mori forest in the hopes of transforming it into a natural bastion against evil. However, their magic is weakening. Long-forgotten heroes must join forces in this fearless adventure to save their world.
The Miniatures
If you’ve always wanted a stunning panda warrior to smash your enemies with, or display with pride, look no further than this! It’s a fun hobby project.
These are all hand-sculpted, which leads to a wild attention to detail on some of the coolest models out there.
Last but not least, for miniatures (not including the stretch goals), you can get an amazing wizard to blast through your enemies.
The Brushes
You can also pick up this quality bundle of brushes, which includes both synthetic and fine hair brushes.
