GSC LVO ArmyThis Genestealer Cults army leaned hard into the rough-and-tumble vibe of a dirt-world uprising. What stood out was the color palette—dirty, weathered tones that brought out the vicious, cutthroat nature of the cult. The grimy uniforms paired with gritty, realistic basing created a narrative you could almost smell. It wasn’t just paint on models; it was storytelling at its finest.

Tyranids: Big Bugs, Bigger Impact

Tyranid armies are no strangers to grandeur, but this year we saw two very different flavors of insectoid menace. One army flaunted a grim-dark aesthetic that practically oozed menace, with muted colors and weathering that screamed, “We’re here to consume everything.”

Tau: From Battlesuits to Allies

This Tau army leaned into the idea of a coalition force, bringing Vespid and Kroot allies into the mix. With a beautiful blue paint job tying the entire army together, it was a shining example of synergy in both aesthetics and gameplay.

Grots LVO ArmyNo Xenos showcase is complete without the Orks, and LVO 2025 didn’t disappoint. A standout Grot revolution army was a creative masterclass. Every vehicle was converted, packed with character, and brimming with the scrappy, chaotic energy Grots are known for. The attention to detail and sheer love poured into this army was impossible to ignore.

Ork LVO ArmyMeanwhile, the more traditional Ork army made its mark with Ghazghkull at the helm and an array of big boyz leading the charge.

Bold colors and heavy-duty hardware made it a fitting counterpoint to the more unconventional Grots, reminding everyone why Orks are such a beloved faction.
