The ol’ Star Wars Medical Frigate, the Nebulon-B has been spotted coming in a special limited edition LEGO kit. Check out the details now!
Slated for the San Diego Comic-Con (which was canceled due to the global crisis), the Nebulon-B has been revealed. LEGO already has the PDF instruction sheet for the box as well if you’re interested. But let’s jump into the images that have been making rounds across the web.
LEGO Star Wars Special Limited Nebulon-B Frigate Spotted!
The ship itself is only 459 pieces, which isn’t too bad. But you can also see on the side of the box that it was slated for the “Comic-Con 2020” in the red banner.
Surprisingly, coming from the Kid’s section of LEGO’s Website, there looks to be a something like a product description:
Recreate every cool detail of the Nebulon-B Frigate with this brilliant LEGO® Star Wars™ construction set. Remember dramatic scenes aboard this Rebel cruiser as you build, then display your creation on its brick-built stand and show it off to friends. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
As you’d expect with a 459-piece kit, it’s on the smaller side, although still packs plenty of details.
It’s suspected, but not confirmed, that LEGO will be releasing this model as a special run. Obviously, as things didn’t quite go as planned with the release at the San Diego Comic-Con, we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled on exactly when this will be released.
What are your thoughts on the Nebulon-B kit on the way? Is this one of your favorite ships from the Star Wars universe?
