More Spyre Hunters are here for Necromunda to hunt down those wild-looking Genestealers, and it looks like are going to be in plastic!
Take things to the old… er, new school with these models, as GW was inspired by the classic 1996 design for today’s latest Underhive style! If you’re a lowly Juve and see these coming down the tunnel at you, it might be time to pack it up, as they are heavily armed and super fast.
Running away might not be enough, but you can always just hire some for your gang next game and be on the right side of the battle.
Games Workshop Reveals More Spyre Hunters for Necromunda
Here is the latest on more new Necromunda Sprye Hunters from Warhammer Community.
In the world of Spyre Hunters, the Orrus from the secundus box set is considered “a Heavy,” while the Malcadon, Yeld, and Jakara are known as “Light” Spyrers. Despite their updated appearances, these figures still operate in the same way as they did when they first emerged in 1996, causing havoc in the underhive. Obviously, they have a new look, but the terror remains the same!
Crafted to fit on the same sprue, these three variants may share bodies, but they each possess distinctive armaments, combat techniques, and head options.
The classic archetypes remain unchanged. The Malcadon is still a formidable, agile combatant with paired claws and web incisors. However, they now come equipped with a drop rig and a grapnel launcher as standard and have the option to exchange their claws for paired toxin whips.
The Yeld is a versatile flyer capable of wielding either paired laser gauntlets or missile gauntlets, while the Jakara is a skilled warrior utilizing a mirror shield and a choice between a monomolecular blade or a naga blade.
This set includes four bodies, and the weaponry is fully interchangeable, allowing for a wide range of posing options. This modularity also enables you to mix and match load-outs to create your own unique leader, a Spyre Hunt Master proficient in various disciplines, and an even greater threat to overcome.
The updated designs and versatile weaponry of these new Spyre Hunter miniatures should really bring a new wrinkle to your Necromunda games. Whether you remember the old models (if you do remember them, we won’t say anything about how long ago that was…) or not, these new models are sure to add some fun to your gang!
