Early 20th Century Japanese Preview: Wargames Atlantic

wargames Atlantic 2 rThe Early 20th Century Japanese Preview from Wargames Atlantic is awesome for historical gamers, but would also make great 40k alternatives!

Wargames Atlantic is always coming out with incredible new models and their kits are always affordable and full of detail. These new sets look to be no different and just the previews are getting us excited.

The minis in the new kits are already looking great, and if they’re anything like their other kits, we know that means tons of bits and minis for very affordable prices! While having new historical minis at a great price is nice, the Japanese ones would make for a really cool Alternative Imperial Guard regiment!

With how the sprues work you could easily pop on some lasguns (or just keep the rifles) and have a seriously cool-looking army. Let’s get into it!

Early 20th Century Japanese Preview: Wargames Atlantic

wargames AtlanticThese would make for such a fun custom regiment for any Imperial Guard army! Plus these are just really cool minis and could also make for some really affordable alternatives for all kinds of games. If you love what Wargames Atlantic is up to, check out what else they have going on! They didn’t say much about them, but did have this to say:

  • This is a very versatile set that will be part of our Imperial Conquests range as it can be used for the Boxer Rebellion, the Russo-Japanese War, and…with a slight squint…WW1.
  • (The main difference in the uniform for WW1 was that they mostly wore puttees instead of the gaiters shown on these figures although gaiters were still in use)
  • These are going to file prep. No release date yet but keep an eye on the Release Schedule page.
That does it for this one, now go grab some of what else they have available right now!
