Bolt Action 2nd Edition Rulebook: $40.00

Bolt-Action-2ed-Rulebook-a_grande

The 2nd edition offers the same fantastic World War II gameplay with its exciting order dice system and mixed armies of infantry, tanks and artillery.

Key New Features

Officers activate other units! Used cleverly, this creates a huge tactical shift as you can order multiple units to fire or advance in concert.

Big Explosions! HE fire now uses templates to determine damage – your opponent had better spread out his troops to avoid carnage!

Armed Transports! Once your squad has piled out of its halftrack, the driver can speed around and unleash a hail of lead at the enemy!

Player Feedback! We’ve listened carefully to the community and taken advantage of the thousands of battles you’ve played to improve the game in dozens of other ways.

New Army List

The main rulebook now includes a fifth army list – adding Imperial Japan to Germany, Great Britain, USA and the Soviet Union – giving you even more choice for your army.

Special Figure

As you would expect we have a fantastic new figure specially made and FREE for those ordering the rule book direct from the Warlord Webstore: General George Smith Patton Jr.

General George Smith Patton Jr. (November 11, 1885 – December 21, 1945) was a senior officer of the United States Army, who is perhaps best known for his leadership of the United States Third Army in France and Germany following the Allied invasion of Normandy in June 1944. A perfect commander for your US armies, from the Mediterranean and on into the European Theaters in Bolt Action.

US Airborne Plastic Box Set: $41.00

US-Airborne-cover_grande

The awesome new plastic US Airborne Late WWII Paratroopers are ready for Pre-Jump inspection. Containing 30-man plastic US Airborne Platoon with enough plastic components to make 30 US Airborne miniatures in M-1943 uniforms, plus a host of options to allow for different weapon configurations and command models.

Having blooded themselves during the fighting in Sicily in 1943 and then fought in arguably their most famous operations during the D-Day landings in June 1944, the US Airborne divisions were withdrawn from the front lines to rest and refit.

Re-equipped with the new green M-1943 uniform which was being used across the US military to standardise supply, the divisions which included the 101st ‘Screaming Eagles’ and the 82nd ‘All American’ would be used by Allied High command during Operation Market Garden – an ambitious plan to open a corridor through Holland by parachuting in several US, British and Polish airborne divisions to take key bridges.

Following the ill-fated Market Garden, US paratroopers would drop into Germany in 1945 as part of Operations Varsity and Plunder – the crossing of the mighty River Rhine itself.

These battle-hardened fighting men have been immortalised in film and television – A Bridge Too Far and Band of Brothers are both great sources of inspiration for these troops and the actions they fought in so heroically.

Contains a 30-man plastic US Airborne Platoon:

  • x5 each of 15 different heads
  • x5 LMG with bi pod
  • x5 bodies kneeling
  • x5 bodies prone
  • x20 bodies running/standing

Ghar Outcast Rebel Creeper: $35.00

One of the accomplishments of Fartok’s Outcast engineers is to find ways of repurposing the simple shells of captured enemy equipment. Such shells are made of materials of a kind that is strange and alien, quite unlike the familiar onion-like layers of metals and composites used to make the bodies of Ghar equipment.

These weird materials do have the benefit of being exceptionally lightweight and strong even without the benefit of powerful magnetic shields. This has enabled the Outcasts to develop hybrid vehicles that are faster than the usual Ghar machines, burdened as they are with massive metallic body shells and the inertia generated by magnetic shielding.

The most successful of these machines to date is the type generally referred to as the Creeper. This uses the shell of a destroyed Algoryn Scout Skimmer, to which is attached a low-output plasma reactor and mechanical crawler legs. In Ghar hands the machine is large enough for two crew, a driver at the front of the vehicle and a separate gunner installed behind him. The reduced weight allows the machine to operate at higher speeds and enables the gun position to quickly come to bear on targets.

Contains:

  • 1 resin Outcast Rebel Creeper, metal components for crew & weapon
