Bandai Namco is releasing their Dragon Ball FighterZ game, which has been in closed beta since last summer. This game is supposed to offer the Ultimate Dragon Ball experience (including the desctruction of background objects during epic battles) and offers several different modes.
Dragon Ball FighterZ $59.99
- Allows players to train and master more than one fighter/style which brings deeper gameplay
- Using the power of the Unreal engine and the talented team at Arc System Works, DRAGON BALL FighterZ is a visual tour-de-force
- Experience aerial combos, destructible stages, famous scenes from the DRAGON BALL anime reproduced in 60FPS and1080p resolution (higher resolutions will be supported on PS4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio)
Some different modes for the game include 3v3 tag team battles, world matches, practice mode, story mode, and more. Characters include Beerus, Nappa, Adult Gohan, Goku, Kid Buu, Android 18, Frieza, Cell, Krillin, Vegeta, and Piccolo, with possibility of more. Stages include places such as Planet Namek, World Tournament Arena, West City, Wasteland, Cell Games Arena, and evening Rocky Fields.
The Ultimate Edition is $139.99 and comes with a 7″ Goku Statue with “Manga Dimension” coloring, an exclusive Steelbook, three art boards, and a CollectorZ box.
Open beta for FighterZ starts January 14th and ends January 16th, available if you pre-order on the Xbox or Playstation digital stores. The game is scheduled for release on January 26th on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Pre-orders also unlock two early characters and two exclusive lobby avatars.
