Looking for a way to deal with the sudden emergence of Gargantuan Creatures and Titans on the 40k scene? Check out these ‘Secret Weapons’ of 40k.

Concussive – Makes Gargantuan Creatures (GC’s) and Titans Initiative 1, and buys you time to deal with them in the opening fury of close combat. You can find it on Thunder Hammers, but more importantly on shooting weapons like Stormhammer Missiles, and Grav weapons.

Instant Death – ID still causes d3 wounds on the GC’s and takes away their ‘Feel No Pain’ roll.

Force Weapons – When activated causes ‘Instant Death’. All Pskyers come with the ‘Force’ psychic ability.

Drive By – Seems like you can literally tank shock a Titan or GC off the table. See the ‘Crunch’ special rule on page 92 BRB.

Misfortune  with your choice of weapon, it’s even effective on bolters! Pairs very well with ‘Cleansing Flame’ as well.

Of course most of the old standby’s work just as good still, but these are some of the more ‘inventive’ ways to pack more value into your armies in 7th Edition.

Dust off those Grey Knights, and Omniscopes – Grav and Force may be making a comeback!

He’s all gaming all the time. With over 30 years of experience in retail and distribution, Rob knows all the products and exactly which ones are the best. He advocates for gaming stores and manufacturers in these difficult times, always looking for the next big thing to feature for the miniatures hobby, helping everyone to provide the value consumers want.

While he’s played every edition of Warhammer 40k and Warhammer Fantasy (since 5th Edition) and has been hobbying on miniatures since the 1908s, Titans of all sizes will always be his favorite! It’s even rumored that his hobby vault rivals the Solemnance Galleries, containing rulebooks filled with lore from editions long past, ancient packs of black-bordered Magic Cards, and models made of both pewter and resin.
